Cadet Staff Meeting Guide

1st Thursday - PT Test
Prior To Meeting
On Meeting Night
First Sgt: Will assign one NCO to lead PT a minimum of 1 week prior to PT meeting.Cadet Command Group: Will arrive no later (NLT) than 1830. NCO’s will setup the sit and reach, shuttle run (to include sweeping run area), and a minimum of 5 PT mats.
NCO Leader: NCO leading PT will ensure that they study PT formation leadership and stretching exercise. Additionally, he/she will pick an additional PT activity for after the PT test and provide this Information to First Sgt NLT Tuesday prior.to PT meeting.CMD PT Test: CMD cadets needing a PT test will execute the sit and reach, shuttle, sit ups and pushups prior to 1900 while cadets are stretching.

Pre-inspection: An NCO will inspect all cadets for proper PT attire. Shirt, shorts, socks and appropriate shoes (laced exercise shoes or five finger shoes).

Admin NCO: Will ensure they get a PT score sheet on arrival and read out scoring requirements for each cadet. Admin NCO will use the score sheet as attendance sheet by placing a check next to each name that is in attendance. Additionally, if any cadet does not pass the PT test their name will be circled to indicate failure.

PT formation: On PT nights formation will be mass formation at regular interval. NCO leading PT will be in charge.

Supply NCO: This will be the only open supply room night. Supply NCO will be available at the supply room from 2015 – 2045.
2nd Thursday - D&C / Team Building
First Sgt: Will assign one NCO to lead D&C for airmen at least one week prior.Cadet Command Group: Will arrive NLT than 1830. Staff call should be held from 1830 to 1840 to discuss the night's events.

Supply NCO: will be available at supply room form 1830 to 1840 if cadets have requested supplies prior to meeting.

Pre-inspection: An NCO will inspect all cadets for proper Uniform and grooming standards.

Flight Sgts: will be at their formations NLT 1840.

First Sgt: Will fall in Sqdn at 1845 and receive report. After roll call conduct Oath and ID check.

Admin NCO: Will conduct roll call at 1845 immediately following report. The attendance roster will be given to the DCC by end of evening.

Education Block 2: at 1950 Flights will reform for movement to Education block 2. FLT SGT will ensure their cadets are in class prior to moving to NCO block.

NCO Block 2: All NCOs will report to the second class room for SM led NCO development. FLT SGT will ensure their cadets are in class prior to moving to NCO block.
3rd Thursday - AE / ES
First Sgt: Will assign one NCO to assist the AE officer with setup at least one week prior.Cadet Command Group: Will arrive NLT than 1830. Staff call should be held from 1830 to 1840 to discuss the nights events.
NCO Leader: NCO leading D&C for airmen will provide an overview of topics covered to the First Sgt and Cadet CC NLT Tuesday prior. This activity will be conducted between 1900 and 1945.Supply NCO: will be available at supply room form 1830 to 1840 if cadets have requested supplies prior to meeting.
Drill NCO: The CMD Drill NCO will develop a senior leadership (NCO) advancement program. The Drill NCO will lead NCOs in advanced D&C instruction and provide feedback from observations from other meeting nights. This will be provided to the Cadet CC and DCC by Tuesday prior. This activity will be conducted between 1900 and 1945.Pre-Inspection: An NCO will inspect all cadets for proper Uniform and grooming standards.
Education Block 2: The Cadet CC will select one NCO or request a SM to lead an education block for all cadet Airmen. This should not be AE but ES or other training as determined by need.Flight Sgts: will be at their formations NLT 1840.

First Sgt: Will fall in Sqdn at 1845 and receive report. After roll call conduct Oath and ID check.

Admin NCO: Will conduct roll call at 1845 immediately following report. The attendance roster will be given to the DCC by end of evening.

Education Block 2 (If needed): At 2000 Flights will reform for movement to Education block 2. Flight Sgt will ensure all cadets are in class.
Last Thursday - Awards / Promotions / Character / Safety
First Sgt: Will assign one NCO to conduct a safety brief at least one week prior.Cadet Command Group: Will arrive NLT than 1830. Staff call should be held from 1830 to 1840 to discuss the nights events.
Safety NCO: Will provide the overview of the brief to the Cadet CC and DCC NLT Tuesday prior. The briefing will not exceed ten minutes in length.Supply NCO: will be available at supply room form 1830 to 1840 if cadets have requested supplies prior to meeting.

Pre-Inspection: An NCO will inspect all cadets for proper Uniform and grooming standards.

Flight Sgt: will be at their formations NLT 1840.

First Sgt: Will fall in Sqdn at 1845 and receive report. After roll call conduct Oath and ID check.

Admin NCO: Will conduct roll call at 1845 immediately following report. The attendance roster will be given to the DCC by end of evening.

Promotions / Awards: Will be conducted immediately after ID check.

Open Ranks Inspection: The Cadet CC will execute an open ranks inspection immediately following the promotions and awards. FLT Sgts will take notes on their cadets for reference the next month.

Character Development: All cadets will be in the classroom NLT 2000 for character development block.
